Managing Partner
Alfredo Sandes, CFA
Sandes is the Managing Partner at Dixie and has been responsible for the oversight and execution of all projects to date. Prior to Dixie, Alfredo has been with Advent International for 10 years, having transitioned from being a General Partner to supporting the firm and its portfolio companies as a Special Advisor. During these 10 years, Alfredo was based in Latin America where he participated in many successful deals such as: Grupo Big/Walmart Brazil, Grupo CRM, Nubank, Easynvest, Fleury, YDUQS, FSG, and others. Before joining Advent, Alfredo also worked in the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs and in the Equity Research Division of Credit Suisse.
In terms of his academic background, Sandes has a Masters from Stanford University, a Bachelors in Electronic Engineering from the Aeronautics Institute of Technology, and a CFA charter.

Fabio Ferrari
Fabio Ferrari is a Vice President at Dixie Capital, where he is responsible for managing and executing investment strategies to drive value creation across the firm's portfolio. Before joining Dixie Capital in 2024, Fabio spent nearly four years at Patria Investments, contributing to various high-impact investment projects. Prior to Patria, Fabio was a Debt Advisory Analyst at RK Partners, where he focused on financial restructuring initiatives. He started his professional journey at Safra, working as a Credit Analyst with a specialization in agribusiness corporate credit. Fabio holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics with an emphasis on Applied Economics from UFSCar and has passed CFA Level I.

Pedro Gregory
Pedro Gregory is an Operations Advisor at Dixie Capital, responsible for overseeing and executing projects according to our excellency playbook. Pedro previously was CEO at Activesoft, a leading provider of ERP systems to Arco Educação’s schools. Prior to that, Pedro worked for two years at Isaac, a leading high-growth fintech company focused on K12 education that was acquired by Arco. Pedro also worked at the Investment Banking Division of Credit Suisse, where he participated in deals of various sectors, including transactions involving Neoenergia, Electro, Gerdau, Kinross and Walmart Brazil. In terms of his academic background, Pedro holds a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from the Aeronautics Institute of Technology.

Otavio Furlan, CFA
Otavio is a M&A Advisor at Dixie with over 15 years of distinguished experience in corporate finance. Previously serving as Global Head of M&A at EBANX, he led transformative initiatives in expanding the company's footprint across Africa and India. Otavio possesses a robust background in executing strategic acquisitions, having managed high-profile deals in both private and public markets during his tenure as M&A Manager at Dasa. Otavio now leverages his expertise at Dixie to guide US mid-to-large businesses through successful inorganic growth strategies. He holds a graduate degree in Economics from Universidade de São Paulo and is an active CFA charterholder.

Associate
Gabriel Auler is an Associate at Dixie Capital, responsible for executing projects according to our excellency playbook. He also acts as Project Manager in projects requiring substantial orchestration of different parties (including company, lawyers, investment banks etc.). Gabriel previously worked at the Investment Banking Division of Bank of America, where he participated in deals of various sectors, primarily in infrastructure, education, and healthcare. Prior to Bank of America, Gabriel worked in the Private Equity Directs Division of Partners Group, where he covered retail. In terms of his academic background, Gabriel holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the Polytechnic School from the University of São Paulo.
Gabriela Aboud is an Associate at Dixie Capital, responsible for assisting our clients with value creation initiatives to drive and accelerate growth.
Prior to joining Dixie, Gabriela spent 5 years in the Investment Banking team of J.P. Morgan both in the São Paulo and NY offices, where she focused on mergers and acquisitions and capital market transactions for a wide range of sectors.
In terms of her academic background, Gabriela holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from FGV, having attended part of her studies in the University of Illinois Chicago.
André Nakamura is an Associate at Dixie, where he plays a crucial role in executing projects according to the firm's excellency playbook. Prior to joining Dixie Capital, Andre worked as a Private Equity Associate at Opportunity, where he gained significant experience in the private equity sector. He also served as an Investment Banking Analyst at Goldman Sachs, participating in deals across diverse sectors. Andre's career began as a Public Equities Intern at Tarpon Capital. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from FGV.

Vitor Saraiva is an Analyst at Dixie Capital, responsible for executing investment strategies according to our excellency playbook. Before joining Dixie, Vitor worked 3 years as an Analyst at Patria Investments, where he played an important role in evaluating Private Equity investment opportunities in the retail sector. Prior to Patria, Vitor began his professional journey as a consultant at Visagio, where he contributed to a wide range of strategic projects across various sectors. Vitor holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of São Paulo.
